Structure
The Chamber is a non-profit private law association, governed by statutes and applicable law. The Chamber’s bodies are the General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Statutory Audit Committee. Any person or corporate body may become a member of the Chamber, provided that they are duly registered, and directly or indirectly participate or intend to participate in Portuguese-Indian economic exchanges and investments and whose admission request has been approved by the Board of Directors.

Rajan Sahay | President
Rajan graduated in Economics and History from Oxford University. He worked as a Management Consultant in the US and UK for 5 years before coming to Portugal where he established a fully integrated Real Estate company. In the past 4 years Rajan has been a business angel investing in start ups. As well as his core Real estate business Rajan is also a partner in companies working in IT, Banking and Commodities.

Humberto Leal | Secretary General
Humberto headed one of the largest Tourism Consulting companies in Europe and has over 30 years of experience working in the tourism sector worldwide. He has held countless key roles including: Chief Advisor to the Secretary of State of Tourism (Guinea-Bissau); President of the Board of Directors (Portuguese Tourism Forum); Board Member (APECA); Board of Directors (CNET).

Nitin Puri | Director - Business Development
Nitin Nitin is a Portuguese Citizen of Indian Origin. Having lived and worked in 5 countries including New Zealand, India, USA, Portugal and UAE. He currently spends his time between Dubai and Lisbon. Nitin has a strong background in Banking and finance having worked for HSBC, Yes Bank and Banco Espirito Santo before moving on to Oil & Gas and the Industrial Sector. At present Nitin is the Managing Director for the MENA region for Regal Rexnord an American Corporation. Nitin has been closely associated with the CCPI for over 14 years Portugal.
